Dear Sisters, mothers, daughters, ...and dear brothers
I walk with you today
Actually I was going for a walk on my own today...not like you in Washington, New York, Paris, London...I was walking alone in the woods near my home...but still
I walked with you all my dear sisters and brothers, young and old
I actually was guided and amazed by our dear Mother of us all , Mother nature, who's beauty, generosity inclusiveness and resilience is our great inspiration and solid ground.
As
always she shows us the way !
It is a bright, ice cold day , the air is fresh and the pale blue sky is changing slightly into pink ...announcing once again a magnificent sunset tonight...
Yes I am walking with you my sisters
so that together we can reafirm courageously the so much needed feminine qualities : ...INCLUSION, CARE, SENSITIVITY, INTUITION, KINDNESS, TOLERANCE TOGETHERNESS,BROTHER AND SISTERHOOD, RESPECT, DIVERSITY, COMPASSION, NONVIOLENCE COLLABORATION, VULNERABILITY
and of course FREEDOM and LOVE
All parents try to teach their child to be a good human being, to be honest, to be kind, to be respectful, nonviolent and caring, because they know that that's how their child will have a good life, will be protected,
will find happiness
All these so called "female qualities" are actually neither male nor female , but we women have the great chance to have had over endless times through giving birth and caring for our families a long practice of "putting others
first" the imeasurable practice of : "feeding the people" caring for a family's economy, for our security, "to care for others" "to protect others" "to protect those who are weaker"...
We also were protected from inflicting violence in wars, inflicting
violence to others, but women often are the first victims of wars...we know how fragile life is and we have deeply rooted in our beings the strong aspiration to protect life!
These days one has the feeling, brutality, discrimination, agression, ME ME
ME First, is again a way to be popular, the macho leaders seem to have wind in their sails..( does one say this in english) "du vent en poupe"...in french
So we ladies we need to walk the talk definitively and strongly! We need to affirm
and embody without fear : KINDNESS , GENEROSITY, COMPASSION, INCLUSIVENESS, NONVIOLENCE we need to make sure TO PROTECT WOMEN, TO PROTECT CHILDREN, TO PROTECT MOTHER EARTH, TO PROTECT THOSE WHO NEED PROTECTION, TO PROTECT THE HUMAN SOUL from greed ignorance
and hatred... as this is the way to happiness for all men and women alike!
So I think in the coming times we might have a lot of walking to do...but as walking is one of my favorite activities...and walking with you my sisters is so much JOY...we'll
walk!
