I arrived here for the first time in Bhutan end of July. It was in the middle of rainy season and nature was soaked with water from the daily rains. The grass the trees were shiny green…all shades of green possible…
When I came back from Vietnam end of September, autumn had started, but it was just in the beginning…
Now we are really in high autumn…like in our life…Tho and me are in the middle of autumn.
What beauty…the rice harvest has started everywhere…It is amazing to see the farmers harvesting by hand, doing all these ancestral gestures with grace.
It is also harvesting time in our life…I hope we also perform
these gestures of "aging" with grace…
The grass, trees have become golden brown, all colours have become warmer, richer, deeper, more subtle in their various shades….
I really love autumn!
This is something I think I would miss living in Vietnam…the four seasons,
What a privilege to live in a place on this earth where there are four seasons!
Life becomes so rich through these changes of nature.
Our soul accompanies these changes and all the colours of nature influence us in our “well being”…a foggy autumn morning, golden rays of autumn sun, golden leaves falling from a tree…all this colours our “inner life” if
we open up and take time to look and let this beauty penetrate our soul!
For sure here in Bhutan it is the most spectacular season I guess…Sunshine everyday, blue sky, cool nights …snow on the high peaks…
Nath
Russia and Igor brought lovely pictures from their hike. They say it was ice cold up at over 3000 at night...winter is aproaching
Where will all the colours go in winter...I wonder...
