Dear all,
These are my last days in Bhutan!...for now....Sunday I'll be leaving via Bangkok for Switzerland...
But as usual every moment is filled with wonder…with “meaning”
and gives a feeling of destiny
This morning we brought Dena and Marianne, two dear long time friends and spiritual sisters from the GPIW, NY, to Paro airport, as they flew back to NY. (they were quite shaken by the news from NY…I
hope they will find their loved ones and homes safe and well)
Nath our son also took the plane back to Switzerland this morning. He looked so happy about his trip to Bhutan and lately to Bumthang…he said when leaving…: I
am happy to come back soon!
(By the way...our daughter wrote that her two sons, Ilya and Alexis cried the other night back at home in Switzerland...real tears, saying: we miss Bhutan...Ilya said: I did not profit enough of my temple (Changankha Lakhang)
!)...
Yesterday we had all spent a night in Paro as Dena and Marianne are preparing together with GNH centre, a GPIW Meeting (Global Peace Initiative of Women) in Bhutan next summer. We visited great venues and started some of the preparations!!!!
I am sure it will be a Wonderful event! (we visited incredibly beautiful temples in Paro with them....temples we had not visited before and that really impressed us...the temple and home of Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche...and one of Bhutan's "self arrisen" temples
)
By the way Tho and the GNH centre are preparing some great events: look them up on his blog: havinhtho.blogspot.com
It was so good to have our family and some friends come and share with us the life here in Bhutan! Our family
and friends are part of us and we truly love them all…so it does really good to feel they are part of our destiny in Bhutan as well!
This morning coming from Paro we right away drove to Tho’s office as Tandin at last will
be officially and fully Tho’s deputy and for this occasion she organized a grand ceremony in the GNH office…luckily we arrived just in time!
Yes…to be continued…I don’t know if I’ll continue my blog
once back in Switzerland…but of course now there is no exclusive “home ”for me any more…I have to balance and flow with Buthan, Vietnam Switzerland and hopefully we will all manage!
The pilgrimage continues,
I truly feel a step at a time…there is no coming back…only the present moment!
For sure I love Bhutan, but I also love Switzerland and I also love Vietnam and all the family, friends, colleagues old and new
in all these places…and beyond…Mother earth truly is wonderful everywhere and may our destiny participate to honor her and to spread her beauty and love!
May my heart be wide enough and may I not be afraid to EMBRACE IT ALL!
Thank you soooooooo much for reading me and accompanying me on this pilgrimage!
Thank you for your support and friendship!
First I wrote for my family so that they are part of all this, for my children, grandchildren, their families...
Then I wrote also for my friends...in Switzerland, in Vietnam so that they are also part of this adventure....and now there are even some people I might not know who are may be reading me....to all of you I say thank you:)
But of course I also wrote
for myself...and for sure....
To be continued....,
