Happy bio dynamics

PLANTS, EARTH and COSMOS

at Tinh Truc Gia Organized by Eurasia Learning Institute – ELI

 Hue, Jan 24-27, 2018

Eurasia Learning Institute (ELI) for happiness and wellbeing is an Institute belonging to Eurasia Foundation & Association. It offers experiential programs leading from inner transformation to a happy and sustainble world.

Tinh Truc Gia (TTG) = The Peaceful Bamboo Family, is the heart project of Eurasia Foundation & Association. The connection between ELI and TTG is very important to us. The importance of this co-creation is what we would like to share with you in this Blog-Article.

TTG was the first vegetable garden, working according to the biodynamic method, in Vietnam.

In 2007, right after the foundation stone ceremony of the Peaceful Bamboo Family, a community for youngsters living with disabilities in Hue, Vietnam, Hans Mulder from Australia taught us how to make the biodynamic preparations that he had brought for this occasion and we sprayed the then still bare and uncultivated land.

Since 2009 we apply the biodynamic methods in the TTG vegetable garden.

More and more people are interested in organic agriculture and biodynamic agriculture. Many young people, even school children want to learn, experience an ecological life style. So we started offering courses of biodynamic agriculture.

For the second workshop we had participants from all over Vietnam. It was a joy to meet old friends, joining us again, and new friends from all over Vietnam, even some from different continents. All committed to “healing” the earth, to reconnecting to themselves and nature, together with others.

We explored again the basic elements, to deepen the understanding and preparation of earth treatments. At the same time we tried to build up on last years program and added some extra elements.

Describing it in the journey of a U-Process, the first day was mostly about arriving. Seeing and sensing the environment, exploring our wishes and expectations for this journey. We started the morning by discovering the garden with a walking meditation, feeling the atmosphere and appreciating all the tiny colors, elements, smells, insects. In groups we then went on with looking more into the beauty and development of a plant.

The whole group was really harmonious and curious about the different methods the treatments bring along. We started co-creating and discovered the preparation for the supplements 500 and 501. We then went on to discover the other supplements as well. Expressed in a proffessional language it was from 502 to 507. What we did was preparing Yarrow Flower, Chamomile, Stinging Nettle, Oak Bark and Dandelion Flower for the traditional biodynamic preperation process.

Moreover we spend a long time to talk about composting, as well as setting up a new compost all together. We presenced into what is coming, when we spread the mixture of supplements with our hands all over the campus. Using our minds: What help and energy would the plant receive by this treatment? Inviting our hearts: How will the love, that I give at the same time, nourish plant and soil?

We ended the course by crystalizing and visioning, what each one will take home from this course, bringing something back to the different corners of the country. Performing and holding the space, thinking of mother earth as a whole, giving little gestures of love and healing to her.

Besides of all the teachings in the garden, we were also integrated in the community live of TTG. The values of the Camphill Community, together with the Vietnamese traditional Culture and the Gross National Happiness (GNH) implementation were deeply touched and experienced for our participants. The Youngster and the Stuff of our Community warmly welcomed everyone with a kind smile.

The reason for integrating our friends in this surrounding is our aim to care not only for nature, but also for others and our Self.

We are very thankful to Marc for coming all the way from Copake, for sharing his long experience, and for guiding Mr. Hung to become a bio dynamic trainer, for your love to all members of TTG

Thank you Mr.Hung for your dedicated and great work as a pioneer biodynamic gardener in Vietnam, thank you to your garden team, to all the youngsters who with their constant and joyful work create a biodynamic “paradise” in TTG.

Thank you so much to Ngan, who was doing an excellent job in translation.

Thank you Jacoba for a great preparation together with the ELI team.

And thank you to all participants, for your openness, sincere interest and work and your commitment to bring about healing and a to create wholesome nature for now and future generations.

With a smile from the happy ELI team
