People from Saigon sometimes say: Hue is so boring…nothing ever happens there…people are so “backwards”, in the evening at 21h everyone goes to sleep (this is true for me at least!) etc of course
they also complain about the weather in Hue…and this I must agree is truly a problem!
(It was so hot these last days and today it is so cold!! This is Hue weather+the rain!)
But believe me, there is so much happening in Hue!
I am NEVER EVER bored! The most innovative projects for me are in Hue!
So many interesting projects! So many interesting people to meet! So many GOOD FRIENDS! So many ideas that bring about change and enthusiasm!
When
I often write: too tired to write…it really means my days are so full with so many dynamic events that in the evening I really have no more energy to write my blog!
For instance in the last days I visited 4 primary schools in which
Eurasia built special classes for children with mental disabilities. These projects were started 12 and 10 years ago.
All continues well! The teachers are GREAT, devoted and over all these years many children have had the opportunity to
learn and integrate.
We are preparing a big 10 year celebration of these special classes next year and we are starting to prepare it!
But I also meet some VIP’s of local government and our partners of other NGO's. I visit
all Eurasia projects and work a lot with Eurasia/TTG team,
Of course I also struggle with some situation and I also have some fun!
